Description
The Green Man Inn is a Grade II* listed building located at the rear of No 58, facing St Peter's Churchyard. This early 17th-century structure features a striking facade made of red brick and stands three storeys high. It has a shaped gable topped with a pediment, and the facade is adorned with elaborate brick bands and cornices, including pediments above the second-storey windows. The top window in the gable also features a cornice with a separate pediment above it. The windows are plain wood casements with wood mullions, although the ground storey windows have been replaced with modern versions. There is a single-storey modern addition on the right-hand side of the building.
