Description

Nos 5 and 7 on Green Lane are early 19th century buildings, likely with earlier timber framing. They have undergone later alterations and are finished in painted brick and cement rendering. The structures are three and two storeys tall, featuring a uniform roof line. There are three casement windows with sliding sashes, along with two later easements. The eaves are decorated with modillion detailing, and the roofs are tiled. The buildings also have early 20th century and modern shop fronts with contemporary glazing. No 7 has low ceilings, and its shop front extends above the first floor.
