Description

Nos 9 and 10 on New Street are early 19th-century buildings made of painted and plain brick. They are two storeys high and feature one sash window along with two later casement windows that have glazing bars, all set beneath plain lintels. The buildings have modillion eaves and a slate roof. At the centre, there are paired doorways with rectangular fanlights, flanked by 19th-century shop fronts that have arched lights, all beneath a dentilled cornice. These buildings are included for their group value.
