Description

Nos 1 and 2 on New Street are late 18th century buildings with later alterations. They are constructed of engraved stucco and rise to three storeys, featuring three windows. The outer windows are sash style with a central casement, all topped with segmental heads. The buildings have a modillion eaves and are covered with tiles. There is a central square-headed door leading to a passageway, flanked by a ledged door and modern shop fronts on either side. These buildings are included for their group value.
