Description

No 118 on Friar Gate is an early 19th-century building constructed of stucco. It stands three storeys high and features three sash windows, with pilasters positioned between them. The building has a moulded eaves cornice and a small parapet. The shop fronts date from the 19th century and have modern glazing, complemented by Greek Key pattern pilasters, a plain frieze, and a cornice. There is also a modern covered way on the left-hand side. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 114A, 115, 115A, 116, 117A, and 118.
