Description

7-10 Vernon Street is a terraced range built around 1840. The buildings are two storeys high and constructed of stucco, with No 7 featuring roughcast. Each house has three sash windows, which are separated by pilasters that extend over both storeys. There is a sill band at the first storey. Nos 7 and 10 have shallow doorcases that include pilasters, a frieze, and cornices. Nos 8 and 9 share a rectangular porch supported by Tuscan columns, also featuring a frieze and cornice. The eaves are boldly lined, and the roofs are hipped and covered with slate. This range, along with Nos 1 to 11, forms a cohesive group.
