Description

16 South Street is a brick building dating to around 1840. It forms a group with numbers 12 to 18 Vernon Street, and 29 York Street. The building has two storeys and originally featured four sash windows with rusticated stucco lintels. A plain doorway is also present, and the building is characterized by bold lined eaves and a hipped slate roof.
