Description

This is an early 19th-century terraced range of six properties, numbered 2 to 8 Brook Street. The buildings are constructed of red brick with a continuous stone sill band. They are two storeys high and feature five sash windows, with three blocked. The windows have plain lintels. Each property has a wood pilaster doorcase with a rectangular fanlight and a small weather hood, sheltering a six-panelled door. The roofs are slate-covered. Stone slab forecourt walls extend across the entire frontage, flanking each pathway. Numbers 2 to 8 form a distinct group.
