Description

This is a 15th-century building, part of the remains of Darley Abbey, which originally formed part of an Augustinian Priory relocated from St Helens, Derby, in the 12th century. The rear elevation is two storeys high and built of stone, originally containing three windows. These windows were formerly 18th century but have been replaced with modern casements featuring glazing bars. The road elevation, which is only one storey visible, has two windows and is tiled. The building has a tall plinth.
