Description

This pair of urns, likely from the late 18th century, is located approximately 3 metres from the front corners of the Summer House in Nostell Park. They are made of sandstone and limestone. Each urn sits on a small square pedestal of sandstone, while the urns themselves are crafted from limestone. The urns feature heavily carved and worn putti on all four sides, with their raised arms holding swags of fruit that hang between them.
