Description
No 15 Beast Fair is a house that has been converted into an empty shop on the ground floor. It dates from the early to mid-19th century and has been altered in the 20th century. The building is rendered and features a Welsh slate roof. It stands three storeys high and has three bays.
On the ground floor, there is a passageway to the left that leads to Wordsworth's Yard, and the shop front is a 20th-century addition that is not of special interest. The first and second floors have sash windows with glazing bars, set in architraves with scrolled bases. These windows feature tripartite keystones above segmental-arched heads and have projecting stone sills. The central bay on the second floor is blind. A cornice runs along the top, and there is a square lead rainwater head and pipe located between the first and second bays. An end stack is positioned to the right.
