Description

The gate piers and wall bounding the north and west sides of the garden of Royds Hall are from the early 18th century. Constructed from handmade red brick and sandstone ashlar, the wall stands approximately 1.5 metres high and features a flat stone coping. There are two square gate piers aligned with the front door of Royds Hall, made of rusticated ashlar and adorned with pulvinated friezes, scrolls, and moulded caps.
