Description
The former Board Room for the Aire and Calder Navigation Company is an early 19th-century classical building. It is a one-storey structure made of ashlar and features a hipped slate roof. The building has five bays, with two sash windows that include glazing bars on either side of the entrance. The entrance is framed by Tuscan columns in antis and topped with a pediment. The left side of the building is now obscured by a projecting modern concrete addition.
