Description
This is a milestone located approximately 200 metres north of the junction with Spring Lane, dating from the mid-19th century. It is made of cast iron and has a triangular shape. The lettering is in relief, with the left face displaying "BARNSLEY" and the right face showing "WAKEFIELD 4 6 MILES MILES."
