Description
This building, located at 11 Market Place, is a house that has been converted into a shop and offices. It dates from the mid-18th century and has undergone later alterations. The structure is made of painted brick and features a slate roof. It stands three stories high and has two bays. The ground floor has a 20th-century shop front that is not of special interest. On the first floor, there are two 20th-century 16-pane sash windows, with the left window set in a reduced opening. The second floor also has two similar sash windows. All windows are fitted with projecting stone sills. The building has a stepped and cogged eaves band and a steeply-pitched roof with brick coping, which has been rendered on the right side. There are no chimney stacks present.
