Description
This raised slab, dating from around 1740, is located approximately 8 meters north of the northwest corner of the Scatcherd Mausoleum in Morley. Made of ashlar, the slab sits on a panelled base and commemorates Elizabeth, the wife of Thomas Reyner of Morley, who passed away on October 28, 1740. The slab features a simple channelled surround with a carved arched head, complete with an impost, a keystone, and trumpeting angels depicted in the spandrels.
