Description

This is a terrace of eleven houses located on Harrogate Road, Chapel Allerton, Leeds. They were built in the early 19th century. The houses are constructed of coursed, hammer-dressed gritstone with slate roofs. The terrace is divided into three distinct builds: numbers 150 and 152, number 154, and numbers 156 to 170. Each house is two storeys high and has two bays. Each doorway has a corniced hood supported by console brackets, and contains an overlight with glazing bars and a round-headed pane. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars, set in plain stone sills supported by small stone brackets. A Victorian canted bay window has been added to the ground floor of number 164. Stone stacks with cornices are present. The interior of the houses has not been inspected. Numbers 150 and 152, and numbers 156 to 170 were listed at a later date.
