Description
The former Bagley Baptist Chapel, dated 1836, is a building that has been partly converted for industrial use. It is constructed of dressed stone and features an asbestos roof. The chapel is two storeys high with a symmetrical facade that has five bays. There is a plinth and a band running along the facade. The tall doorways in the second and fourth bays have monolithic lintels and overlights, while the other bays contain windows with projecting sills. The ground floor windows are boarded over, but the first-floor windows still have 16-pane sash designs. A hollow-chamfered moulding is present on the stone gutter, and the roof is hipped. A date plaque is located at the center under the eaves. The left-hand return of the building has six bays of similar windows, with the third bay altered to include a large taking-in door that disrupts the first-floor band.
