Hall of residence. 1911. By GW Atkinson. Red brick, ashlar dressings, slate hipped roof. In Classical 'Wrennaissance' style. One of the group of 7 halls arranged to the S of the main building, James Graham Hall (qv). 3 storeys, 5 unequal bays with 3,5,1,5,3 windows. Brick banding and pilasters to outer bays and central entrance bay which has panelled double doors and triangular-pane overlight in architrave with segmental pediment, the windows above in a stone panel. Small-pane windows, in round-arched recesses to upper floors. Modillion eaves cornice with small pediments each end and centre; banded brick ridge stacks. INTERIOR: not inspected.
