Description

The Foster Monument, located approximately 1 metre south of the east bay of the chancel of the Church of St. Peter, is a Grade II listed monumental slab dedicated to Samuel Foster, who died in 1713. The monument is made of sandstone and features a border adorned with simplified linked flower trumpets. It includes long inscriptions rendered in primitive lettering.
