Warehouse. c1870, altered C20. By Stephen Smith. Red brick, stone dressings, slate roof, cast-iron basement railings and bollard. 4 storeys and basement, 7 bays. Vermiculated rustication to basement piers, heavy roll moulding at ground-floor level; steps with low flanking walls at each end up to round-arched entrance in moulded architrave with carved spandrels, bay-leaf bolection frieze and pediment over. Ground-floor windows round-arched in moulded brick surrounds, cornice over. Similar full-height round arch openings to upper-floor windows, C20 frames. Heavy bracketed eaves cornice. INTERIOR: not inspected. SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: basement railings: standards with ball finials, ornate scrolled panels between. Bollard against far left flanking wall to steps is approx 0.7m high, baluster form with roll mouldings and ball finial.
