Description
Numbers 1 and 2 are a pair of houses located on Park Road in Colton, dating from the late 18th century and restored in the 20th century. They are constructed of red brick with a stone slate roof that features one end hipped design. The buildings are two storeys high and have two windows, which are fitted with three-light sliding casements that include glazing bars. The doorways are plain and have modern porches added. Notable architectural features include a dentilled eaves cornice and a central brick chimney stack. The houses are arranged in an L-plan with a gabled wing at the rear. Additionally, there is an attached wall made of red brick that runs along Park Road and Meynell Road, which is ramped up along the side of the house and topped with rounded stone coping. The interior has not been inspected.
