Description

This is a late 18th-century house located on the west side of Main Street, Thorner. It is constructed of hammer-dressed stone with a concrete tile roof. The house is two storeys high and has three windows on the first floor. It features quoins and a rendered plinth. A doorway, approached by a short flight of four stone steps set between the first two bays, has tie-stone jambs. The windows have monolithic lintels, projecting sills, and narrower monolithic jambs, with altered glazing. Brick gable stacks are visible, and there is also a stack to the ridge.
