Description

The Padgett tomb chest, located approximately 15 metres south-east of the Church of St. Oswald in Guiseley, is a Grade II listed structure. It commemorates Joseph Cawkwell Padgett, who died in 1889. The tomb chest is made of sandstone and polished granite and is designed in the Gothic style. It features open sides with pointed arches supported by colonnetes, which protect a pitched lid within.
