Description

Guiseley Cross is a village cross located on the north side of Oxford Road in Guiseley. The cross shaft was restored in 1915 and is set on three worn square steps, which may date from the 17th or 18th century. It is made of sandstone and features a chamfered cross mounted in the center. The shaft is inscribed with the words "GUISELEY / CROSS / + / restored / August / 1915".
