Description

This milestone, located at the junction with Thorner Lane, is likely from the late 18th century. It is made of dressed stone and has incised lettering. The east face is inscribed with "To Wetherby 4 Miles," while the west face, which is the rear, has a rough inscription reading "To Leeds ( ) Miles."
