Description
This building is a dovecote and stables/outbuilding, likely constructed in the mid-19th century. It is made of chiselled sandstone blocks and features a stone slate roof. The structure has a rectangular plan, with a two-storey central dovecote flanked by single-storey wings, each consisting of three bays. An impost band runs around the entire building. Each section has a centrally located round-headed doorway and round-headed windows on either side. The dovecote includes small round-headed windows on the upper floor, each with a sill-band. The central dovecote has a pyramidal roof with a chimney, while the wings have hipped roofs. The interior of the upper storey is said to contain nest boxes, although it has not been inspected.
