Description
Westville is a house located on Tower Lane in Armley Hill Top, dating from the mid-17th century, with alterations made in the late 18th century and 19th century. The building is constructed from coursed gritstone and features a slate roof with one stone coping. It stands two storeys high and has three widely spaced two-light windows that have plain stone mullions and architraves, with later sash windows. There is a small round-headed window on the first floor to the right. The entrance is situated between the first and second bays and features a large carved lintel from the 17th century. There is an inserted doorway on the far right that includes a cornice and a hood supported by console brackets, with glazed doors. A brick chimney stack is located between the second and third bays. The right-hand gable has a square attic window, while the left gable features two small round-headed windows, one of which is blocked. The interior has not been inspected.
