Description
The Coach House and Service Range to The Grange is a building dating from around 1837, now used as the premises of ACF Yorkshire Seacroft detachment. It is constructed of coursed squared gritstone with a stone slate roof, although part of the roof is missing. The structure features a two-storey, two-bay taller block with a projecting wing, and a single-storey, two-bay coach house attached on the left side. Architectural details include four-centred arches with finely-tooled voussoirs and small square chamfered windows. The building has gable copings and bulbous kneelers, with a first-floor stack that slightly projects on the gable. There are also inserted and blocked openings. The interior has not been inspected. This building is included for its group value.
