Description

1-8 Crofton Terrace is a terrace of eight houses built in the mid-19th century. The houses are constructed from hammer-dressed gritstone, with a slate roof. The terrace is nine bays wide, with the outer bays gabled and set at right angles to the main block, projecting slightly. A central segmental cart entrance is defined by voussoirs and a keystone. Modern four-panel doors with overlights have been added, along with a porch to the far left. The windows are contemporary sash windows with plain sills and lintels, with margin lights to the end bays. Decorative syma-moulded gutter brackets are present, as are four- and two-flue corniced ridge stacks. The interior has not been inspected.
