Description

Lower Wood Royd Farmhouse is a mid-18th century farmhouse, part of a larger group. The walls are rendered, and it has a stone slate roof with two stone stacks. The farmhouse is two storeys high. A central door is framed by a Tudor arch set within a deep lintel. To the left of the door, on both ground and first floors, is a shallow, double-chamfered three-light window. To the right of the door is a sash window on the ground floor, and a three-light stone mullioned window with square-cut lights on the first floor. An outshut extension is located to the rear. A barn to the left is not part of this listing.
