Description

This is a mid-19th century ashlar-built house on New North Road. It has a pitched roof covered in fish-scale slates and two and a half storeys, topped by a crenellated parapet. The house is arranged in three sections, with the two outer ranges projecting slightly and each finished with a coped gable on kneelers featuring finials, and a single arched light with a hoodmould. These outer ranges also contain zones of quatrefoil panelling between the windows. The main entrance features a door with traceried lights set within a four-centred arch, flanked by buttresses, and topped by a gable with a blind trefoil. The windows are arranged in three ranges of bipartite mullioned sashes, each with a hoodmould.
