Description

This is a pair of mid-19th century houses, numbered 93 and 95 New North Road. The houses are built of hammer-dressed stone with ashlar dressings, and have a pitched slate roof. They have two storeys and attics, and present a symmetrical three-gabled front. The attic windows are two-centred arched sashes with hoodmoulds. On the first floor, windows are cusped sashes with hoodmoulds, arranged in pairs within the gabled bays. The ground floor features two canted bays with moulded cornices and parapets visible in the outer bays. A central three-light sash window is hooded, and it is flanked by doorways with moulded two-centred arches and hoodmoulds.
