Description

The base of a lamp, located approximately 1 metre south of the west corner of the south wing of Roe Head, is likely from the early 19th century. It is made of cast iron and sits on a stone base. The chamfered base supports a column-like stand that features consoles at its turned, moulded base. The fluted shaft is decorated with palmette motifs at the base and has a moulded cap with spouts that support a flattened-urn-style top.
