Description
This building is a cottage located at 121 Hartshead Lane, which adjoins a larger house. It dates from the early 19th century, although it may have an earlier origin. The structure is built from coursed rubble and has a stone slate roof. It stands two storeys high.
To the right of the cottage, there is a blocked doorway featuring chamfered reveals and a Tudor-arched lintel with an inscription that reads "1666 I.R." On the left side, there is a 19th-century doorway and a three-light window, although the mullions have been removed. The first floor has one four-light window.
