Description
These are a group of four 18th-century properties located on Mount Road in Marsh. They are rendered and have pitched stone slate roofs with coped gables on cut kneelers. The buildings are two storeys high. All windows feature square-sectioned mullions in recessed frames. Nos. 4, 5, 6, and 7 each have one three-light and one two-light stone mullioned window on the first floor, and one four-light stone mullioned window on the ground floor. No. 8 has one three-light and one two-light stone mullioned window on the first floor, but the mullion has been removed from one of these windows; it also has a 19th-century window on the ground floor. The rear elevation, facing Mount Street, has a catslide roof. A range of three-light stone mullioned windows is present on the rear, although the ground-floor windows of No. 5 have been partly altered. One light on each floor of No. 7 is blocked by a lean-to extension, and No. 8 has a window only on the ground floor.
