Description
This is a row of six 18th-century buildings on West Street. They are constructed of hammer-dressed stone and have a pitched roof covered in stone slates, with coped gables resting on cut kneelers. A moulded gutter runs along the roofline. The buildings are two storeys high. The first floor has a mix of windows: one two-light, three three-light, and one four-light stone mullioned sash windows, all with segment-headed frames. The ground floor has three three-light sashes, also with segment-headed frames. Number 14 has a Venetian window in its gable end. The doors vary: number 14 has a door with four moulded panels, number 16 has a door with six fielded panels, and number 18 has a four-panelled door, three of which are glazed.
