Description
This is an 18th-century coachhouse located on the west side of Gledholt Road. It is constructed of hammer-dressed stone and has a hipped roof covered in stone slates. The building is two storeys high and features a band running around the facade. The central section projects slightly and is topped with a pediment containing an oval oculus. Segment-headed carriage doors are centrally placed. A range of round-arched windows is positioned on either side of the carriage doors; the first-floor windows are blocked. Two planked doors, each with a fanlight, are set within stone surrounds; the right-hand door is blocked, retaining only the fanlight with its glazing bars.
