Description
Hillock is a former pair of dwellings built in the mid-18th century, with 19th-century and recent alterations. The building is constructed of coursed rubble and features quoins, with a pitched tiled roof supported by one ashlar and one modern stack. It stands two storeys high.
On the east elevation, the southern part is older than the northern part. The southern section has an entrance with a deep lintel and a three-light chamfered stone mullioned window. Above, on the first floor, there is a two-light chamfered stone mullioned window. The northern part includes a recent stone porch and a modern bow window on the ground floor, while the first floor features a seven-light stone mullioned window. Additionally, there is a single-storey stone extension on the south gable, which may have been rebuilt or altered.
