Description
Thorpe Villa is an early to mid 19th-century building located on Northgate in Almondbury. It is constructed of ashlar stone and features a hipped stone slate roof. The villa has two storeys and is adorned with a moulded eaves cornice and a blocking course. There is a continuous sill band at the first floor level, which is complemented by five ranges of sash windows that include glazing bars. The central first-floor window has a moulded surround. At the front, there is a tetrastyle Tuscan portico with a segmental pediment above the central intercolumniation. Additionally, there is a round-arched staircase window at the rear, also with glazing bars.
