No. 87 Townend is a 19th-century building located on the east side of Almondbury. It is constructed of hammer-dressed stone and features a pitched stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and includes a continuous first-floor sill band. On the first floor, there is a 12-light stone mullioned window, although three of the lights are blocked. The ground floor has one 3-light stone mullioned window and one 4-light stone mullioned window.
