Description
The Savile Arms Public House is an early 18th-century building constructed from deeply coursed tooled stone, featuring quoins and a stone slate roof. It stands two storeys tall. The near central door has been heightened and includes chamfered reveals and a hood mould. To the right of the door is a 6-light window with a king mullion and a hood mould, while to the left is a 5-light window, both of which have double chamfered details. On the first floor, there are a 4-light and a 5-light window set in square cut recessed surrounds, with chamfered mullions. There is also a new or rebuilt central window. An outshut is present at the rear of the building.
