Description

The sundial located to the south of Manor House dates from around 1600. It features a cylindrical pedestal made of millstone grit, standing 5 feet high, known as the 'Dial Stone', which was found locally in 1587. The sundial was erected by John Kaye and includes a brass dial and gnomon.
