Description
This is a detached house, dated 1753. It is constructed of hammer-dressed stone with quoins, and has a stone slate roof with two ashlar gable stacks featuring moulded caps. The south elevation has a central door with a deep lintel bearing the inscription "W/ AE S/1753." It includes double-chamfered stone mullioned windows on both floors; a four-light window to the left and a three-light window to the right, with sash windows in the central lights. On the north elevation, a two-tier staircase window is located on the left side, with its lower portion blocked, likely in the 19th century. To the right is an early lean-to extension with a catslide roof, featuring an entrance on its left side and a three-light stone mullioned window facing north. The interior includes a cellar and a wooden staircase of a later date.
