Description

Numbers 126, 124 and the adjoining barn are cottages and a barn dating from the late 18th century and early 19th century. They are constructed with hammer dressed stone quoining on the earlier part and feature stone slate roofs with stone gutter brackets and ashlar stacks. The buildings are two storeys high.

The main house, No. 126, has three bays and faces the road, featuring a near-central doorway set within a recent stone porch, with a three-light window above. To the left, there is a single bay with three-light windows, and to the right, there is a later addition with two-light windows. At the rear, there is a 90-degree addition with a double roof, which includes an entrance with a single light above to the left and one four-light window on each floor to the right.

Adjacent to the right is No. 124, an early 19th-century cottage that has one four-light window on the ground floor and a combination of one three-light and one two-light window on the first floor. The adjoining barn to the right features a segmental arched cart entry with a three-light window above it. At the rear of No. 124, there is a gabled wing.
