Description

Newhouse Place is a mid-19th century building constructed from hammer-dressed stone. It features a pyramidal slate roof with deeply overhanging eaves and a decorative fretwork valence. There is a string course running along the building. The canted corner includes one sash window with an ornamental oculus above it. On the east side, there are paired sash windows with similar oculi above. The north side has a door with an ornamental shaped lintel, one sash window, and one dormer.
