Description

These three dwellings form a terrace, dating from the early 19th century. They are constructed of hammer-dressed stone, with a stone slate roof supported by moulded stone brackets. The south-east elevation has differing configurations for each house: Number 5 has three bays, with a central doorway and two stone mullioned windows on the ground floor (one 4-light, one 3-light). The first floor has three 3-light stone mullioned windows. Number 3 has a single 3-light stone mullioned window on each floor. Number 1 has two entrances, a modern porch, a 4-light stone mullioned window, and a small single-light window on the ground floor. The first floor has two 3-light stone mullioned windows, each with one mullion removed. The north-west elevation contains entrances to Numbers 3 and 5, and features two 3-light stone mullioned windows (one with a mullion removed) and two single-light windows on the first floor, one of which is later.
