Description

Green Gate is a detached house built in the early 19th century. It features hammer-dressed stone that is partly rendered and has a stone slate roof with gable copings. The house has two ashlar stacks and stone brackets. It is two storeys tall with a symmetrical facade. On the ground floor, there is a central doorway located within a recent porch, and on either side, there is a 3-light stone mullioned window. The first floor originally had a 12-light stone mullioned window, but six lights have been blocked, resulting in three 2-light windows.
