Description
Edge End is a detached weavers house located to the south, dating from the early to mid 19th century. It is constructed of hammer-dressed stone, with some parts rendered. The building has two storeys, with a single storey at the rear. On the ground floor, there is a central doorway flanked by two three-light stone mullioned windows, although one of these windows is blocked. The first floor features a former 16-light stone mullioned window that spans the entire elevation, but eight of the lights are blocked, resulting in four two-light windows. At the rear, there is a central doorway with a seven-light stone mullioned window to the right, of which six lights are blocked, and a five-light stone mullioned window to the left, with four lights blocked.
