Description

Lockwood Methodist Church, built in 1864, is a single-storey structure made of ashlar with a pitched slate roof. It features a bracketed and moulded cornice and a pediment that has a plaque inscribed with "Lockwood Methodist Church 1864." The church has horizontally rusticated angle pilasters and two round-arched windows adorned with Tuscan pilasters, moulded voussoirs, and vermiculated keystones. The entrance door is also notable, with moulded imposts and voussoirs, a vermiculated keystone, spandrels, Tuscan pilasters, a full entablature, and a blocking course.
